- Close Friends - I don't have nearly as many as I would like, but really how greedy must I be? I have a couple of really close friends that I know should I need them for anything at any time they will be there. This is hard for me to remember at times though.
- Church - I have really seen the blessings of a church family over the past few weeks. I haven't really been involved or connected with anyone in the church for several years and missed it. I didn't realize how much until I started being involved again. I hope to be more involved.
- Prayer - really this should have been listed on day one but there is just so much and I'm not really listing these in order of priority or gratefulness. I am so thankful that at any given moment on any given day I can pray to a loving Heavenly Father. I do not have to sacrifice or go through an earthly priest.
- My Bible - I am so lucky to not only have the Bible in a language that I understand but to have several copies in several versions. How blessed to have God's Word at our fingertips
- Internet - Adjusting to stay-at-home life has been very difficult. The internet has helped make it a little easier with being able to stay in contact with family and friends. Esp family.
- Doctors - They may not know everything but they have certainly helped me through the past couple of years and I am thankful for what they have done and the difference advancement in medicine has made. I can say with certainty that I would not be alive without (and God obviously).
- Being able to read - It has shocked me how many people can't read, even though they have had an "education"
- Being able to write - I remember getting frustrated having to practice my handwriting over and over but I am so thankful for that now.
- My phone - I love having a "smart" phone. I usually have it close at hand to capture moments by photo and/or video. I love being able to share those instantly. Txting and talking, looking up on the internet, gps. So many great things in one gadget (small gadget I might add).
- My bed! - It isn't anything special but it provides me with warmth, comfort and much needed rest!
BAMM stands for British, American, Medic and Mum. I am British, living in America with my wonderful family and work as a paramedic outside the home and a wife and mum at home (all the time). This is a combination of thoughts, activities, recipes and whatever else happens through this journey called life.
